For ranges, check behind the lower kick plate below the oven door or at the rear of the unit. For convection ovens, it depends on the series, but generally the data plate is inside the top front cover. For fryers, look on the inside of the front door panel. Many Vulcan griddles have the serial plate on the right-side exterior panel, while charbroilers commonly have it on the lower right side.
