CFESA Cares Scholarship Program

Scholarship Award and Criteria

Winners of the CFESA Cares Scholarship receive $2,500 for tuition, fees, and educational materials in addition to a $1,500 Klein Tool bonus sponsored by AllPoints. Plus, all winners will be featured in an episode of the Service Hero Toolbox Podcast.

This scholarship is eligible for students 17 years or older with a high school diploma (or on track to graduate) and interest in pursuing a career as a food service technician.

Making a Difference

What makes the CFESA Cares Scholarship Program so special is the positive impact on its winners. Spring 2022 scholarship winners Dylan Place and Joshua Marks shared how this scholarship opportunity has made a difference in their lives.

Before receiving the scholarship, Dylan juggled two jobs to pay for his college education.

"This is the best thing I have ever received. The money was definitely helpful, and it all went towards paying for my schooling. As far as the Klein Tool bonus goes, it was awesome, and I got so many tools that are all very well made," Dylan said.

Joshua Marks used the scholarship money and tool bonus to advance his career.

"The CFESA Scholarship is helping me further my education in the field, and the Klein Tool bonus has given me the opportunity to purchase the necessary tools to become a more efficient and effective service technician," Joshua said.
